After 3 months of pretty much nothing, I finally managed to get a drawing done! This is a new character of mine named Pip, or Sugar Plum Pip as he is known in his world. never thought I'd end up making a dragon character but i kinda wanted to give it a shot.

So, here's Pip. what kind of Dragon is he? well... he's a sugar dragon! instead of fire, he breathes a sugary dust that, if concentrated enough, will trap anything it is blown against in a super hardened shell of sugar. his horns, claws, wings, and tail tip are all made of similarly structured sugar crystals. these sugary bits can be a wide array of colors, depending on the color of sweet he is eating as they grow. being made of sugar however, these bits can be dissolved by liquids and even consumed. however, doing so with these bits would take a while as they are unnaturally hard. they can still be shattered or chipped with enough impact as well, fortunately to no harm of their owner. in fact, it is encouraged that he keep proper maintenance on his sugary bits as they grow without cease, which can result in them growing too large as to be unwieldy, and in the worst cases, immobilizing. he is also able to fly, though his hard wings don't move with enough dexterity to fly. instead, they function somewhat akin to a jet pack to propel him through the sky, leaving a long trail of sparking sugary dust in his wake. beneath his sugary bits, he has tiny bony structures that account for claws and horns and the like that mark where the sugary protrusions grow from. the rate in which they grow begins quite quickly but slows after they reach their average length. he can also willfully grow them, though it can be tiring. in a fight however, aside from his claws, breath, and tail, Pip can encase himself in a sugary armor shell that, although reduced his mobility, makes him quite difficult to actually damage.

anyway, all that business about his species aside, Pip himself is a cheerful outgoing sort who always likes to be active. though very friendly, he can get a bit grumpy sometimes and pretty stubborn. though he likes to give and receive help from others, there are some occasions where he's determined to try and do something on his own, especially when challenged to do something that's well out of his league when it comes to his small size he is courageous and proud, greatly disliking it when his pride is attacked, though he doesn't much like to boast unless completing a challenge someone gave to him. he also tends to get a bit self conscious sometimes, afraid to have people see him is he makes a mistake.

So, what does Pip do with his time? Well, Pip makes a living as a delivery dragon. more specifically, a baking, delivery dragon. Pip own a little bakery in a pleasant little spot in the countryside. though people do come in regularly to purchase his confections, he receives many orders from all around for his baking. he then flies these orders out and collects payment. Though he's quite young still, he's become quite good at his craft. and makes full use of his abilities to produce goods. for example, his breath makes for a great ingredient, or a good garnish to give a freshly baked cupcake a sparkly layer of sweetness. his breath can also be used to create lollipops which he makes by closing his mouth around a stick and concentrating his sugar breath on it, it's flavor being affected by recently eaten treats; mostly fruits when making lollipops.
