This is part of a series of themed commissions from this year's Midwest FurFest. Months ago at Anthrocon, I was struck with a wave of creative inspiration which led me to devise a team of super sexy sorceresses who wield both magic and technology with equal skill. To introduce them, I opted to have each of them drawn by a different artist at the convention. I present the Tech Sorceresses, Aurora Coven.

This is Paradise (nicknamed 'Dize by her friends), and she is Aurora Coven's engineer. A master at enchanting technology with magic, she maintains the team's gear and ensures they are constantly aware of every necessary detail on every mission. Her own arsenal consists of a tech bow that's powered by pure mana; it needs no string or arrows, only the spells she focuses and casts with but a thought. She also has a little hovering digital assistant that aids her in various ways. Here, we see it being used for aiming, allowing her to make seemingly impossible shots from extreme distances or odd angles. She was recruited from Killswitch Coven, which in the past would routinely take credit for her discoveries and ideas. Due to a lack of self-confidence (it is believed her original mentor was verbally abusive), she would never speak up in her own defense. Here in Aurora Coven, however, she has finally found a group of like-minded companions that actually support one another. Though she still bears the emotional scars of her past, she is learning to let go of the pain and allow herself to interact with her new Coven, who have been much more welcoming of her talents... and willing to acknowledge her contributions to their successes in the field.

Max Blackrabbit was chosen to depict Paradise. I really like how she came out in his style, very sexy yet very approachable. The little digital assistant was his idea, which really matched her style as it presented something that she would've worked on in order to get away from her original teammates, and later became one of her handiest inventions. Oh, and to those wondering, she's a bongo antelope.
