A character that I adopted from
bakura-sama
Original submission: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16459366/
I have had him for a little while now, and I have been slowly developing his characteristics in a roleplay with my friend
Tiver.
Kybar (Key-bar)
He's a nice guy; very friendly and easy to be with. He likes to feel helpful and make others happy. He has an innocent personality, but if you get to talking to him, he actually knows or understands more than you might think. However, don't get him angry. Beneath that soft shell is quite a terrifying beast. The good news is, you have to do a lot to reach that point. If he is angry at you, you must have really screwed up.
He is a vocal creature. He can create a wide array of noises from barks to chirps to hisses. He loves contact. When he shows any bit of love for someone else, he will rub and lean on them. And he, of course, likes to have rubs and nudges back.
He lives in a desert climate. His long legs give him the ability to run at high speeds, which helps with catching food or avoid becoming food. He uses his back spikes for protection. If threatened, he turns to the side and angles his back to point the spikes at attackers. His tall ears give him exceptional hearing.
So Kybar is practically a fluff ball without the fluff. He's friendly, but capable of being surprisingly scary when angry.
When I adopted him, I thought his design was simple enough to model in a 3D program. I still may try to do so, especially since he has become one of my favorites.
