So, for a little while now I've been kinda playing around with being of the lapine variety and... well, I've been seriously considering switching my fursona from a Dragon to a Rabbit. Why? I've been feeling like a change is in order, and I've been on a rabbit kick for a few months now as well.
So I have here my fursona as the rabbit and my current dragon in the same ultragirly pose. There's a bunch of pros and cons to staying as the dragon and changing to the rabbit that I'm sorting out before I make my decision, but I figured people on FA might have some opinions or something.

They both look very nice, it's really just up to what you want, is being a rabbit for you, do you still want to keep your dragon fursona? you could get a new account and a new name if you're seriously considering switching, or you could consider it an alt fursona and "house" it here in this account, as though you were drawing to separate realities...

It's hard to give advice on this because I'm always one to go with the less popular path, but dragons and rabbits are both very popular in the fandom.
It comes down to (in my mind) you having thought about switching. Listen closely to yourself. If you hear something like "I definitely want to change" or "I would really like to change" then you should change. If you hear something like "I think it's appropriate for me to change" or "People might like it if I changed" I wouldn't do it.

Rabbits are bascally the submissive icons of the fandom. They're most popularly depicted as the victim of domination or put in slave situations, thus it's less popular for people to choose to be them than it is for people to like rabbit characters.

But yeah, I'd personally say, go with what your heart tells you. Don't let other people force your opinion to one or the other. I'd suggest, have them as alternate forms, based on what mood you want or situation you want it for. At least till you choose if you want to be one or the other. =3

i wanna say that your dragon has always come off to me with a bad-ass presence. the rabbit one just seems to be more out-going with life... more of a "wanna be friends" appearance. while both of them together have the "dude" in them, and that's the one i like more. that being said about my view... i'd go with the rabbit. besides being because rabbit's kick ass, i also think that it just has a better "inner glow"
I like both your designs :) However if pushed, I would say i prefer your Dragon fursona :) Partly because it's how i associate to you, also because of your name having to change.
Also, dunno if this counts or not, but Immelmann is a Rabbit. Staying as your dragon form keeps you distinct :)

However if you feel strongly for morphing to Rabbit, that's awesome too :) That's the trouble with liking both equally as much XD I guess it depends on hassle factor, do you want to go changing your name everywhere? o.o Sounds quite a chore. Also you appear as a dragon in your guest comics on Immy's webcomic, as well as in your own. I suppose that wouldn't matter though?
