Stilll, that would be a pain in the ass to carry. I carried a saw in Afghan and that weapon alone with the uneeded equipment we were forced to carry for it made lugging it around very painful.

same here, so true. Water or a camel back, over a thousands rounds minimum in the assault pack with a field stripped MRE. Heavy like a mother.

I was good with that weapon though. Out of the entire company I scored highest. I got "assigned" it. Not so good with rifles. Give me a machine gun of any kind and I can perform a orchestra for ya. Once set an entire attack force running for their lives. According to the terps monitoring the enemy traffic on a radio. Felt pretty damn good. But hadjis are like deer. Shoot a punch of holes in em and they crawl off to die somewhere. Makes it hard for confirmed kills. Got a few. But far to few to make me happy.
