Yup. Fangcon is doing a parody of a parody as a con theme. We are doing FURBALLS which is a parody of SPACEBALLS which is mostly a parody of Star Wars. When you come to the con, beware the evil villain, Dark Hell Mutt!
I hope you all enjoy this FURBALLS (the promotional FA ad), and if you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it as it is a cult classic from Mel Brooks. Get a pizza from Panda the Hut, get some liquid Schwartz and enjoy.

LOL! watched Spaceballs in the theater when it came out and laughed myself silly and even today its still funny. It is fun to watch how they made the movie and to think this was cutting edge at the time.

I've only seen parts of Spaceballs, not all of it, but I discovered it for the first time last week; as a result, the lines now stuck in my head are the following:
Skroob: Ah, Planet Druidia, and 10,000 years of fresh air.
Dark Helmet: [whispers to Colonel Sandurz] The way he runs things, it won't last 100.
