This scene was originally supposed to take place underwater but it looks like the two characters are racing on top of the water instead. This dragon has the ability to mimic the coloring of other animals, including its fish friend if it wanted to!

Aquatic dragons are the only group of quadruped dragons that can only breathe underwater. They generally don’t interact with most of the other terrestrial groups (except for amphibious dragons). There are many different species of amphibious dragons and the animals they are related to vary: molluscs (like octopuses), cnidarians (jellyfish), sharks, stingrays, etc.
