I may be getting involved with a minimalist band, so my musical thoughts have been divided between that and my normal rocksplosions, but this is very pleasant in it's own fantastically buzzing way.

So far they tend use really simple minimal composition and then just sort of run it through a wall of sound treatment. Back it up with multiple voices and ambiances. I'd love to be able to come and even just add texture with ambient sound. I hope that if I become a functioning member I get the opportunity to really compose.

Fun people though, and knowing that when I write a song for cello and violin...there will actually be a cello and violin.

I would think that Alchemy would sound like something between Xanopticon and Merzbow.

But this is pretty nice, like the setting of such.

It will probably be a varied record, at least as far as the auditory details are involved...it's taking longer than expected because I actually am having trouble determining exactly how the album should sound overall.
