Here it is! Finally!
A reference-sheet for Destiny's sword "Amaroq". You may already seen it in some artworks but it's design has changed a bit.
Amaroq is a big sword inspired by the "Vendetta" from the video game Devil May Cry 2. The sword itself is made out of Moon-Metal. A rare ore that was only found in a meteorid which was fallen from the moon. it's non-magnetic but very strong build. Is lighter that it looks but still unhandy for the most beings. Of the blade gets hit by moonlight, the sword itself gets stronger, sharper and faster.
This is also a kind of "wolf-weapon" since wolves can use it the easiest. But Destiny is the only one which can unfold its full potential. He also "upgraded" it though his adventures. Through him it got the ability to split itself by his will into two blades for dual-wilding and he managed to forge a piece of Fenris-chain "Gleipnir" into it so that he can swing it like a morning star (in both forms, as the big sword and the two single ones aswell). It's a magical chain so it seems to appear and disappear just how he need it. Also the lenght may vary!

It's also that there is no space for the chain if the sword is connected with the handle ^^
The Chain is highly magical, it can appear out of nowhere. Also the connection-spots change if it's split into two.
You could say...the answer if something seems to not work is mostly..."Magic" xD

yea, i guess there really isnt any answer XD
i guess you could pill an ivy thing instead where the blade becomes a segmented metal whip. judging by the length of the chain, that would both extend the length and also properly weight it out instead of having a giant slab of metal hanging off of a chain XD
well, youll figure something out. but if ya do take up the ivy chain idea, you will need 2 chains(or wire) at minimum and if you need more 4 should suffice.
the issue tho is you cant do it down the center of the blade, unless that isnt a gemstone that hollows out when becoming two blades
