Had some of the hardest times with this design, and should have probably done better nnnnnngh still, I had some serious brainstorming behind this though xD

Ok so, Day 5 theme was planned to be Christmas Lights with a Venomania as species of the adopt; I started off with the idea of making it bright and happy, because during the holiday season going out and seeing the town all decorated, bright and festive makes me happy and feel better with myself for some reason. But, then I thought, why exactly feeling happy because of that? It's not like pretty lights or hearing carols on the streets resolves my problems. I probably feel happy from the atmosphere as a whole, because it's tradition to be always happy and nice for Christmas, everyone else seems to be, Christmas it's about that, you HAVE to be happy. Or you're not like others, not normal. You don't fit in.
I'm not saying this is what happens to EVERYONE, quite the contrary, but trust me that there are some people (not me, or not atm anyways) who feel that way, that all this holiday cheer is just a huge hypocrite thing and you almost feel forced to be happy, to be with people you may not even want around like family (sad but true, they say to love unconditionally family but when it ignores you all year, or talks shit about you behind your back, or abuses you, and then fakes so much love and care just because it's Christmas, it's not easy).
Everyone tries to be happy, it's in human nature. Many though when trying to grasp happiness, get burned, and it hurts. And when you try and get burned, again and again, it eventually takes its toll on you. Some even start thinking, that maybe happiness just wasn't meant for them (which I don't agree with, but I won't start a whole other discussion).
So that's why I ended up picking a moth for this theme. Desperatly trying to grasp the light, the happiness, only to be burned. And left alone, 'cause you're not like others. As for the Venomania thing, I did this bab thinking of it as the Toxicalia subspecies, the one who releases inner toxicity instead of absorbing it; they don't like themselves at all because of it, and if they can't love themselves, why others should?

My apologies for such a depressing design in the merriest of seasons, and once again, I don't completely agree with this mindset, but it's just something that I noticed in more than a few people and wanted to bring that out.
