An assignment for landscape painting a few semesters ago, we were supposed to paint some sort of cityscape. I was in the mood for a smaller town, so I went to Golden to take a few pictures. Oddly enough my favorite shots turned out to be of the Coors brewery, so I stuck with that and changed a few things around to fit the composition. It would be nice to go back in and put in more texture/details to make the buildings a little less boxy, I kinda like it a little more simple looking though ^^
