Another Year, another "Different" short story.
I'm not quite done with the next chapter of Red Hypergiant, but I did want to submit something for early December. I wrote this I think mid-October as something I just thought of. Almost a Follow-Up to Where The Frost Rose Withers. Though, some events within Frost Rose is mentioned, you don't need to read it.
However, this small, 20-ish page story is mostly about the Meta Aftermath of Wrong Side Of Heaven, another novel (or two) I wrote. You don't need to read it to understand a lot of this, it's more talking about "what could have been." There's not really much for spoilers either, other than Some Characters Are Alive In Act _______. So, I won't bother with any warnings there.
As for sex, there's nothing really described. Though, things are mentioned here and there, it's barely anything. Not enough to change the rating of such things. So, consider that your warning, I guess? Anyway! I won't say too much more about this and let it speak for itself. Just enjoy it.
Music Credits are a little bit different though. This was something I ran into one night browsing FA, and I really liked it.

Please give it a listen, and perhaps a quick comment. They did a very good job on this, and well... They deserve to be known for it.

Hey Bartan,
This is a nice story, and as in the previous year, it gives the readers more insights in the motivation of the overall stories/plot! As I can not really relate yet with a lot of you, it is good to know them. The motivation and/or origin of Haytre and how things where original planned are brought with a bit of humor, but serious when it needs to be.
The original intention of the Funeral chapter sounded quite complicated, but still I think you would bring them over quite clearly. And I think I like how the story more as it is now than as the other ways. And I understand why you did not choice the other ways.
And I thought of the ending as something quite nice and touching.. perfect actually. Giving closure and hope for a better future for Haytre, and of course yourself.
Happy new year btw, and I hope I come around commenting/reading your other story soon, privacy is sometimes hard to find in this house..

I'm happy you enjoyed this year's short story as well. I know it could be a little confusing and hard to remember the areas in WSoH I was talking about, especially since that story is getting close to a year old now. And yes, I do like how the story turned out overall much better than the several ways it could've gone. I thought this was an interesting idea to do, whereas I don't just tend to make up one story plot and follow through without any changes.
Yeah, I liked the idea of The Funeral, but like I explained in the story: it was so hard to find a good spot for it. Let alone, just switching to it at the very end of the story would possibly just end in a cliffhanger when it came to the other characters in it. Let alone, I only had about 60% of it written, still unsure how detailed I was really going to make it. Especially the part with the Last Goodbyes, which was actually going to feature every person that was mentioned in story. Again: probably something best to do On-Screen rather than off.
Anyway, don't worry about the privacy issue if it's about the Adultery. There is nothing like that in Red Hypergiant - All Pain Is Gone. Granted, if it's more "Getting Time For Yourself" I completely understand, and have been there (especially around the holidays). Just take your time with it, I only just got off my own break and started the final chapter to DP yesterday.
