Day 9 of the 30 day sketch challenge!
How is it possible that all the 6 years I have not done a single Disney fanart? Well, Here's American Dragon Jake Long, as requested by victordragon747 on dA. Originally I intended for a more action perspective pose, but after some trials I couldn't get the proportions right and settled for a more simpler approach. At least I feel I got all the proportions right and I'm getting better at referencing. And of course, I kept to the original season 1 artstyle, cartoony, and blocky. Don't really like the newer style, I think everything looks weird.
I'll need to learn perspective poses someday. Right now, it's better to just get everything else right in general. I've never drawn weird Disney Cartoony artstyle, so the fact this came out alright is good for me.
