True to her character, Anelie fought me about just as much as Myra did while I was trying to put her on 'canvas'. My hand doesn't do wolf anatomy yet, or at least not with the kind of expressions I've managed to put in with the other characters. Gotta work on that.
Anelie is a 5 years old gray wolf. She and her mate Oru are the local wolfs pack's breeding alphas. She's very much in the prime of her life, with 35kg of pure power dashing through Morning Light when she's on the hunt, with or without her pack. She's notoriously moody and, while not condescending, very much aware of her 'royal' status within Morning Light, since most forests are essentially bordered and controlled by where wolves set their territories, a point she'll gladly remind anyone of who'd challenge her authority.
It's very likely the main reason why her and Tobur are at such odds with eachother. It's not like Tobur actively challenges the wolves authority, but he doesn't submit to it the way Anelie would like him to either. It's his dancing around her control that rubs Anelie in just the wrong way and it wouldn't have been the first time Oru had to reign her in somewhat when talking to the old fox. The fact that Tobur and Oru are old friends doesn't help her mood on the subject one bit either.
Unlike Oru, Anelie usually doesn't concern herself with chatting with other creatures in the forest very much, predator or otherwise. Most of the time she just directs the pack as is needed, making sure they're all well fed and healthy, leaving the 'rulership' of the forest to her mate. She considers upholding this status quo her top priority and she's willing to go to pretty much any length to ensure this, though pretty much everyone who isn't one of her pups, thinks she takes both herself and that task a little too seriously.

That is very interesting! I didn't know Oru and Tobur were buds, what is he like? Is he a wise and just ruler?
Would he let Tobur skirt by if he saw Tobur with the Nele? What would he say if he came across them chatting
during their little morning chore that we see them in the current pages?
