Just thought I might as well show the progress of my work :3

First I gather as much good references as I can find for the characters I'll be drawing. Then I paste them onto the canvas and begin to loosely sketch out the bases for each of them in a different color.

Since I've don't have much well experience with drawing characters without fatness. I'll be tweaking up Mufasa's body in the skin sketch, which is where I draw the real drawing over the bases.
