this was meant to help artists position where their characters weilding greatsword should place their paws and basic prospective stuff
this wasnt any seriouse attemp to draw characters so i just did them craply in paint lol  keako's latest peice where the great sword is bent inspired this little tutorial on great swords.
a little info on the great sword it was intended as the missle luancher,bazooka ect of the medevil period the weight of the blade was well heavy you had to be strong to use it even then you'd need to use both hands when using it. now the greatsword could tear through any armour however being heavy and weigted in the blade the users cuts and movements where sluggish and only capable of simple slashes vertical and horizontal and somtimes if able to the user could stab at an enemy most greatsword users would use the momentom of the blade to increase control for example the user could spin in a spot and the weight of the blade could bisect many enemies later an intermittant sword between the great and long sword was born the bastard sword .
