Mikayla was offering to color free-2-use icon bases from starwulf off of DA, and luckily I caught the post right as it came up. I don't often get art of Ula since I prefer my otherkin self to always be in Feral form, so, decided to choose her over Mia. The result was much better than what I thought it would be, and I couldn't be happier with it.
I would love more art of Ula...so, if ever you know of a feral artist that loves drawing wolves and has decent prices, please, let me know ;)

Well, usually my price range does not go higher than $20-$25 for at least a bust of a character (flat colored and no background...but hey if they offer more, that's amazing). But, I'm broke. I have long since quit my job, so, I'm scrapped for cash unfortunately. But for icons, I see them run as low as $8-$10 and then $15 for YCH Bookmarks, icons, and other such things.
Most people just do bidding though...usually do a starting bid at $10 for a YCH or character auction. Those are most popular right now. I see art go for as much as $80 that way...especially if the artist is popular.

Oh that ok then and i'm sorry i hope you are able to find a job your happy with soon. And yeah i feel like popular artist get more money that way. Unfortunately im not there yet so i need to keep building up ^^. Atm i only have redone regular cfommissions overall i feel like icons have an equal amount of work put into them no matter how small (unless your going simple) But you do have a good point i do see people treating thT differently maybe i will add that under a different category when i start posting about chibis/pixels.
But either way thanks this gives me a positive outlook on my prices now. Cause before i use to give like 25$ for a full body shading. But now since i have improve and take more time for these things to be great for the customer flatt color up to fullbodies are 25$
But who knows maybe if i get stuck i can try one of those auctions ^w^
