My model train (or toy train, if you prefer) and Plasticville houses which adorn the layout have been in my family since 1951. My father would set it up every year at Christmas time and I try to keep that tradition.

Here is another view from the roof of the police station. This time looking diagonally across the city park in the center of town. The bench under the lamp near the right of the photo is a favorite place for young lovers to canoodle on a warm summer evening.

On the opposite side of the street, a ranch style home and a cozy bungalow sit side-by-side. It looks like this is trash colleciton day. The garbage truck is one of the Matchbox cars that I played with as a child back in the 1960s.

Further in the distance is the popular Plasticville Diner with its distinctive red roof. A farm sits on the outskirts of town.
