Ratte, legitimate question here: How do you have the patience to do stellar compositions like these? Do you ever need references for these types of scenes? Your eye has such an astounding sight for detail, and not a speck or stalactite looks out of place in even the slightest.
That's incredible. The fact this came from your imagination without any references, and with such a cool perspective at that which demonstrates a cool sense of depth. The only time I attempted a cave background of any sort in a drawing was for a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fan art contest back in 2006, and that took me a month to draw and color out even longer than the Pokemon in the drawing themselves...and looked horribly flat and unblended even from a photo reference I was using. How long did the sketch take you?
Yeah, these are the specs of my upper screen: 4.88" autostereoscopic (3D) IPS LCD @ 800 × 240 px (171 PPI) (400 × 240 px WQVGA per eye). Don't quite understand the numbers, but it would seem you're correct.
And that's not too shabby. Better than the month(s) it can take me to finish one thing that's not even quite as detailed.
