Go figure, almost immediately after I posted the journal on devART saying that I probably won't draw nuch till next week, this happens! I blame !! >:C After his overly generous donation sort of thing to help with January's bills in advance - I've been suppressing the urge to draw this particular idea until now!

The overall concept, is that Sonar (me) is out to rescue him from the monotonous and rather otherwise dangerous life holding his post in Iraq! ): It's his girlfriend flying the plane actually, lol. I know there's a feck load wrong with it, but I just aimed for making him happy!

About 7hrs; reprint of the sketch, then colour pencils over markers.
