Soooo recently there was a small nerd/geek-type convention in my city, and Shadow and Ruby decided to come spend the week-end at my place and go there, because a bunch of French people who did a fantasy comedy sketch they liked were there, signing autographs and shit. The whole convention was fun, but something definitely stood out to our group: the Oculus Rift game Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, which was sitting freely on a table for anyone to pick up and play.
The basic gameplay is super simple, yet can turn ridiculously complicated. One person has the helmet on and has a bmb they have to defuse, while the others sit on the side with manuals describing the different modules you have to deactivate. The person in the helmet must describe what he sees, and the people with the manuals have to tell him what to do to fully disarm the bomb.
Sounds easy, right? FUCK NO. This shit gets real complicated, real fast, with some of the instructions being really confusing and hard to navigate through. And it's super stressful for everyone involved. And it's fucking AWESOME.
I wanna play it again, pretty bad. Ruby was also very into it, so we decided to get this done on the spot by Karine, the only furry artist in the dealer's den. This features her secondary character Toki, a leopard-bunny mix.
I have two grave dressing mishap in this picture. A "Keep calm" shirt... that's tucked in the jeans. *shivers*
