Aristocles is the Twilight Guardian of Bright Ice.

Originally he was a Greek philosopher who discovered the world of Twilights, Lykofos.
In this world he met Aletheia and her son Girunesis. He also struck up a deep relationship with Aletheia.
After several chaotic events that happened in Lykofos, Aristocles received the legacy of the guardian of ice, turning into one.

Xombra, the Guardian of the Shadows began a genocide to clean his world from humans. Aristocles, Aletheia and Girunesis, with some other heroes, failed to stop him. Girunesis died in the fighting. Xombra reborn him as a Blue Shadow to assist him in his crusade but Girunesis refused. So, they chose to put Xombra in a Void Prison in exchange for the sacrifice of a twilight.

Aletheia was pregnant of Miryam, but offered to sacrifice herself to lock Xombra in the Void prison. During the sacrifice, Aristocles freed Miryam from Aletheias womb taking her with him to the Astral plane where he could keep her development with Neo's help, the guardian of Darkness, in absence of her mother...

Two millenniums later, Aristocles rose Miryam at the age of 12 to ensure her survival. He also sent Girunesis to protect her. Aristocles entered the subconscious of Miryam and now he guides her in dreams and offers his power if needed.
