Really ? people don't like him ? just because they think he is complex ?
I like the design of his fur on his body, plus his face make him looks adorable, the flammes on his tail is really impressive, the only thing that I don't understand, it's that you say it's a Charmander, aside the flamme on the tail, I don't see why. BUT I like the character in itself ^^

He's usually bipedal, the sketch I based him off of was a normal Charmander, and his colors and markings are based around Salamanders of different species, which Charmander is supposed to be based on.
I thought about switching the orange and the brown around, as I think that would make him look more like a Charmander in design, but every time I try, all I can hear is him saying "Don't you dare mess me up." lol
But not seeing the charmander in him is something that I don't mind as much, as I agree that he kind of lost that look even though he is one. And yeah, people don't like him because they think he's complex, lol.
