Moved from old account. Seriously need to do more with this idea someday. Moreso since this was thought up before the concept of Fairy-types existed.
Original info--err, story:
There was a time when I used to get really bored.
And when I was bored, I used my hands. No, not to do that -- I hadn't hit puberty yet, for one thing -- but to steal things. No reason really, I just liked trying to see if I could slip my hand where it didn't belong and see if I could get away with it. I enjoyed it. I thought I was happy.
Turns out I got so happy one day after a great job that I evolved. And I was caught.
So I did my time in juvie. It wasn't fun. I tried curing my boredom the usual way but the other inmates were too cautious of me, not to mention meaner. Plus that was what got me caught to begin with -- if I can't use my hands to steal, what could I do?
Along came Arizona Jones.
That's all I know of the guy, just a name and the fact that I could only tell it was him by that gait of his and his black sunglasses. I figured he was a Ditto or something that didn't like his real form, but I could never get a clear answer from him. Arizona Jones looked me up one day, after having heard my story from my parents and he told me, "Son, you have magic hands,"
"Magic...hands?"
"The hands that can fool. The hands that can defy logic. Why not make 'em hands that can make people smile, too?"
I didn't understand him at first. But then he showed me his own hands and what they could do. They were incredible! I've seen people pull coins from behind ears and call up Pidgeys before, but something about seeing it up close and told the way Arizona Jones told it, it left me starstruck! So he taught me tricks for the next few months I was in jail, taught me everything he knew. Before my time was up, he gave me a pair of glasses just like the ones he wore. If I could evolve again from happiness then, I would have.
"Son, when you get out there, make some magic, not misery. Make 'em smile with your hands."
And so I did. Sometime later I'd go back to school, but that's a story for another day.
