This striking pendant uses a real naturally deceased American Mink skull that I have cleaned, sterilized and processed using environment safe methods. The skull is perfect, with all teeth present and intact turbinates.

I gave the skull a mirror-bright coat of high gloss black and added accents of hand-applied 18k liquid gold leaf, including a full coat of gold on the canine teeth. The jaw has been cemented in an open position and cannot be closed.

A small series of 14k electroplated gold rings are drilled into the skull's crest; hanging from the end of those rings is a single bead of real snowflake obsidian and a flame-red pheasant feather. The splash of red is absolutely gorgeous against the inky black and metallic gold!

The skull's eye sockets have been carefully filled in with a lightweight air-dry clay and inset with small clusters of real pyrite as 'eyes.' (Also known as fool's gold.) Their natural golden gleam plays nicely off the gold leaf and adds that certain special something.

This fellow is slightly customization, too - I can hand-paint a simple symbol of your choosing on the side of the cranium, and I can paint it on with the same real 18k gold leaf that accents the skull. A pawprint? A tree? A flame? A celtic spiral? A sliver moon? A pagan symbol? Can do. Oh, and this service is FREE for Furaffinity members! The 3 inch pendant has been finished in a high gloss acrylic and hangs on a 20 inch black chain with lobster clasp.
