I decided, on a whim to use a messy doodle of 4 chefs - one of each of the current playable races in Aether Adrift - for color practice on a new painterly style. I think it came out exceptionally well, but I'm not 100% sure it's what I want for the game's art style.
The main issue is that coloring things in that style takes quite a bit of time, and I'm currently the only artist on board.
I'm exceptionally pleased with how the colors came out, though. What do you all think? which chef is your favorite?
