The story itself showed promise but...
I noticed there were a few grammatical errors (commas were they weren't supposed to be, a lack of commas were they were supposed to be, spelling errors, and some bad sentence structure, capitalization). Some of the characters seemed a bit lifeless as well. For a draft this is good, but as a finished piece... not-so-much.
