"This is the heart of all that we hold dear. This is the ideal after which we all strive. This is the representation of why we fight with fire and heart against the Heartless Hind and his ice-blooded brutes and butchers. What we long for most is the old world, the world we remember well. The world for which we strive, for which we fight, with all our strength.
We strive, because we don't live there yet. We see it, in our dreams of the time not so long ago. We glimpse it, but faintly, like the Fata Morgana of a distant city across the water. We must live here and now, but must never forget that for which we strive, never forget the glory and joy of that old world.
This is our new symbol, to serve and suffice until the ancient standards wave again above a nation freed from the tyrant lord and his malice. The heart remains as it ever was, the dancing princesses, with the sun and moon to hold them. But now they are colored in the shades of our rebellion. Gold and silver. Brass and steel. Within the compass of their dance are our weapons, the hammer and sickle, borrowed from the noble Stalliongradi, first to fall while truly halting the bloody juggernaut of the fascist lyn-krig. Though the bearers are lost to us, Harmony will never be lost to us. The names must never be forgotten, for harmony is forever.
This we will hail and hold dear to our hearts for however long we must fight. But it will be only a momentary thing. We will not hold it forever. For we will save our land. We will beat back the ice-beings. We will bring to birth the old world from the ashes of the new!

I actually did not originally make this like this. I hand-drew it. On several pieces of taped-together paper. It's impossible to scan. Paint works surprisingly well for things like this. There are actually very few changes between the two. This one has color. And the stars were originally seven-pointed. But it is amazingly difficulty to freehand a seven-pointed star.
It's a bit busy, and may be hard to read. I shark it just a little too much. Here's all the writing on it, with translations.
Per Ardua Ad Terra Antiquus- Through hardship to the old world
Eppur Si Muove- And yet it moves (The legendary comment from Gallileo after being forced to renounce his position; a classic statement of defiance and assertion of reality against tyrranical fiat, like caribou sexism)
Amicitia- Friendship
Et Lux in Tenebris Lucet- and light shines in the darkness
Probitas- Honesty
Ex Animo- From the heart (or spirit)
Fidelitas- Loyalty
Equestrianum Sum- I am an Equestrian (Modeled after Terence's famous "Homo Sum")
Bonitas- Goodness (for Kindness)
Gratia Plena- Full of grace (from the "Ave Maria")
Liberalitas- Liberality (for Generosity)
Do ut des- I give that I may receive in kind
Hilaritas- Chreefulness (for laughter)
Asbestos Gelos- Unquenchable Laughter (From Homer, the laughter of the gods)
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and some indicia (C) Hasbro
Much of the crest was composed by me
The thing to which this was made in opposition was created by some dude.

If I had to use paint and draw a seven pointed star, what I'd do is install paint.NET or a similar free program and use layers... but if that wasn't an option, I'd find a version of the heptagram I wanted on google image search, paint over the lines and either leave it at that, (if the original lines are thin enough) or draw an additional layer on top in black after making the painted-over line a different temporary color, then simply use the paint bucket to fill the background to the temp color and back to white.
However, I think you should keep the six-pointed stars, cus it's bound to infuriate anti-semites, and anything that annoys nazis is probably a good decision.

I realized in retrospect this works even better. I already make no bones about how I feel the caribou are fascists. I almost made a similar thing that was to be their insignia which was a fylfot made out of runes. You're quite correct that this works out much better just to add the extra implications and clarify my position on the matter.
