This photo always makes me want to cry...

This was taken about two days after bringing her home from the shelter; Copper was very shy and nervous at that point (she had been abused/neglected), so she didn't like being touched much. I took her into the yard to get some play time in and I took my camera with me. After taking care of some buisness Copper walked up to me, grabbed my hand, and gave me a kiss... I was lucky enough to have my camera on and at the right setting.

I like to think this was Copper telling me, "Thanks for giving me a second chance." It's a shame most older dogs don't get adopted... Bless her heart... I cannot believe they were about to put her down.
