and there are possibilities that asgore didn't even kill the kids and they were finished off before they got to the castle, since their stuff is scattered around in places outside the castle. some theories think that undyne and sans were the ones who helped kill the kids.
and you're forgetting that if sans hadn't made a promise to toriel he would have killed frisk......... plus the fact that undyne wanted to kill frisk too... and so did a whole shit load of other monsters you encountered in the game sooooooooooooo...........
