The Typhoon Class Missile Destroyer is an old KarmaTech design dating back to the days of the Dilgar War, in which the class proved her worth. During the Earth-Minbari War, many Typhoon Class vessels were lost to superior alien technology. The crews of the Typhoon Class did however find a way of giving the 'boneheads' some of their own medicine by dumb-firing the missiles at point blank range.
