Oh, how I've longed to finally get time to look at this particular work. Seeing the characters come to life that you've created for "Fallen Angel" is fantastic! I honestly never imagined Blissy like this, but really think the design suits him well based on his personality.


The mane definitely is key in illustrating his character. The eyes also help out lots, too. The muzzle makes it all come together great to get the idea as to why he is how he is.


The addition of stocking / sock-like markings on his legs is also quite impressive. It certainly adds more to the mental image I had been working with.



You're continuing to advance upon your overall ability to draw horses / ponies, too. Each piece shows notable improvement in the legs, which are perhaps the only real area you may truly need to focus on improving, if you feel working to improve their appearance is even necessary. :)


I love how the thigh muscles in the flank area are defined. Shows he's a slender pony while pointing out a more anatomic location for his Cutie Mark. The ears are really good, too! The barrel, muzzle, eyes, mane, and tail have been great while ever improving every little bit with each work you do.

I really like how you are adding in elements of horse anatomy based on growth from foal to adulthood. Lots to learn for sure. :)
