I love fluorescent, the way I like it.
Cute, not freaky.
Cartoony, instead of realistic. I prefer cartoony things over realism. Adds even the slightest characteristics to a piece.
Anyhow, I was looking at my DeviantART page and there is a GIF I placed on it. The background of the GIF is very very similar to this. I also just adored the background. Little tiny organisms squirming and swimming about. Ah, I just had to draw this!
So yes, in other words, I got inspiration from the background of this one movie scene which is also a GIF on my DeviantART page.
It also is one of my favourite movies which would explain why the GIF is there in the first place.

Ah yes, microbiology! I loved taking it in middleschool! I was the teacher's prized student and I remember all the biology teachers running into the class and calling to me to run out into their rooms and look at their discoveries!
I am taking biology next year so I hope very much we will do the same!
