For my Visual Narrative Class, I picked this shot from Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo to analyze. This is a part in the movie where Scottie the detective follows Madeline to make sure she's safe; it's a really neat shot because Madeline and the flower shop are appearing in a mirror beside the door.

My take on these two was Madeline as a swan since she seems like a fragile character, and Scottie as a Scottish Terrier because I couldn't think of making him anything else after getting the idea from his name. A friend later told me that considering the plot, a swan as the animal choice for the female lead doesn't make a lot of sense; whoops! x'D
