Somewhere around two years ago I put up a drastically different version of this lady on dA (for folks who want to see the OLD art: here ya go )

Backstory time!

This is Hibiki, her backstory has changed radically since she was first created but right now it involves Stridet finding an egg she shouldn’t have, stealing said egg because it was shiny, and then hatching it with Stein’s assistance (namely funds for a fancy incubator).

Hibiki is a crystal dragon (so she’s actually covered in scales made of said crystal), of sorts, she has this kinda human form and a very Not human form (which might explain why Stridet is completely undaunted when meeting certain large dragon-creatures these days). She has no wings naturally, but this didn’t stop her from creating a pair (that retracts into that collar around her neck, which is enchanted to also grow or shrink with her depending on her form).

Her powers are mostly technomancy, but she has a natural affinity for gem and light magic that she dabbles in on occasion (mostly as power sources).

She’s a bit of a perfectionist, and likes to act aloof in most situations. Her parents embarrass her greatly, as they know exactly how to pester her to make her blush and lose her composure (which she actually likes, in spite of her protests).
