I know this is an older suit but I was wondering if you'd be able to shed some light on the tail's construction? I'm looking to make a tail that's about 4ft long but sits upright (or mostly) so I've been looking at Crux tails for inspiration. Did you use foam or wire at all for this one or is it all polyfil? My main concerns for making a long tail that does not drag are weight, and its ability to keep its shape and not flop to the side or whatever.

Any advice on this kind of construction would be hugely appreciated. :)

i carved the whole tail out of solid foam. then its just held close with a big thick belt around my waist. you'd have to pull the tail pretty tight to get it to stay up. never had problems with it flopping to the side or anything like that.
