LOVE Licorice Allsorts. My gran would give them to my sister and I whenever we were ill or feeling bad. "Licorice fixes everything," she'd say :)

I feel your pain. Most licorice has wheat in it and as a Celiac I can't touch them either.

That is one sweet Dragon! This one certainly recognizes a treasure when he sees it.

I'm in the same boat (can't have candy anymore) but Dad got me turned onto Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts way, way back. Someone started making something similar in the US around the 1970s, and Dad bought them (although he grumbled about it) but we didn't see the Bassett's for years. Dad visited Germany and England in '89 at a client's expense, and brought me back a package of the real thing. Li'l pieces of Heaven.

I like the colors, not the candy

All Sorts licorice. Funny story. I don't like common licorice because thye're too bitter. I like sweet licorice though. I got the taste for All Sorts first in my mid-20's when I was offered one and found out that they're of the sweet sort.
