The Mortani the ancient race that birthed the Weavers, roughly the size of a man and almost extinct thanks to the hunting by humanoids. Most seeing such a creature are afraid and run or attack them, being so delicately built they can't but up much of a fight so fled. People seeing them as monsters killed any on sight until only a pitiful few colonies remain, the Weaver their children had a different story as their smaller size helped them hide.
