The rumors that the local villagers had created not deterred Harry Belmont, a famous vampire hunter in these parts, from entering these strange caves that they deemed to be inhabited by an unknown creature. The locals had been adamant that Harry should not approach the caves but he had dismissed all of their stories as mere folk's tales or utter nonsense meant for children. He wandered into the caves and was surprised to find them quite well lit, lined with torches that seemed to make the area glow red.

It didn't take long for Harry to get lost in the maze of cave tunnels, that was until he started hearing what sounded like a whispering voice coming from one of the darker hallways. Curious to what was being said, Harry followed the winding passageway as if lured in by the strange voice. The hallway eventually led out to a room which had a few items such as a bed, table and some other furnishings suggesting it was being used as a bedroom.

Suddenly the canine felt someone grab him making him jump, but as soon as he set eyes on the figure he relaxed a bit as he recognized the form of a lion. Something about the larger feline's eyes drew Harry to stare into them, making him feel light-headed as the lion smiled flashing his fangs "it's not very often I get visitors down here. I see that you are quite lost too, why don't you stay a while and we can get to know each other a little better hmm?" the lion crooned in a slow and precise voice which quickly made the vampire hunter drop his guard as a goofy half smile appeared on his face. "It's okay my friend, I promise I won't bite" the lion stated pulling Harry closer with little effort until he had his jaws a few inches away from Harry's neck "much..." is the last word that the canine heard before feeling a sharp pain in his neck and soon lost consciousness to the sudden twinge of feeling.
