People keep saying that they're goats. Yes they look like that but they don't have Hooves. So they're most likely furred dragons without tails

There's an NPC in the game you can talk to about this, and he says their specices is literally called "Boss Monsters".

It just so happens that they resemble goats, right? And that it's a species option for submissions so most people just go with it. X3

Undyne has arms and legs, but she's still a fish. The chance of them being goats is much greater than that of them being dragons.

Heh, this couldn't happen in game though because he took the souls of everyone (except Frisk's soul) to get his God of Hyper Death form, including his mother's soul! Play the Pacifist run of Undertale if you happen to not understand what I mean. There's a plot twist in it that partially explains this. Btw, Genocide runs, although they reveal some of the story that the other runs don't show, it's for cold-hearted people, and Youtubers who are pressured into it against their own desires. Usually having them be filled sadness over killing their favorite characters in the game. Plus, it breaks the game upon completion, so you are stuck with your Pacifist endings you get after that during Pacifist runs forever messed-up, unless you do what W.D. Gaster would do and mess-with the system files of the game. Yes, Gaster WAS aware of their world being a game, and his works sometimes involved modding game files from within the game before he "fell into his own creation" and got ripped from time and space. Hense why you can only get info about him by either modding the game yourself, or from learning about it from other people. Heck, the "mysteryman" sprite was not even shown in the game unless you hack, unless on very rare times when his room is open to you after the update... Interacting with him there still does nothing but make him vanish though. And I'm talking too much again! Sorry! Bye!
