Anyway, the cheerful and positive lifegivers are led by "That Chick", and are celebrated like stars by the population of Upside.

Meanwhile, the land of Downside is plagued by a horrible disease. Transmitted sexually, and contracted even before birth, this horrible illness has a lethality ratio of 100%. The people of downside have termed it "Life", and are doing whatever they can to fight it. Fortunately, a faction of jackals led by the grim, the fierce, the terrible, the unparralelled "Tom", have made it their task to fight Life wherever they encounter it. Garbed in elegant black cloaks and wielding noble scythes in battle, they are known as the Reapers.

This is the world of Grim Star
