Usually, it´s the other way round: You become a werewolf, more often than not by being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and then you are admitted.
Still, it´s pretty much your average boarding scool, just with a few... added bonuses. And a massive ruckus once a month.

Nice. I just prefer the story where the MC is either in the wrong place at the wrong time or he signs up not knowing what he's gotten into or it's his last resort. I'd still sign up anyway. Maybe as a special transfer. But it's your story. That's just me. And sorry if said anything wrong here.
It´s supposed to be halfway stretched out into something resembling a digitigrade paw. Have you seen the movie "An American Werewolf in London"? It has a very cool thransformation scene that shows it changing a little bit like that.
Overall, I kinda enjoy giving my anthro woofs slightly elongated "hands", as can be seen here and here.
But then again, I might have overdone it a little with the stylization here...^^

Well, I´m not much of a writer myself, to be honest. English is not my first language, and producing something akin to a coherent narrative is a little beyond what I could hope to achieve.
Still, I like to come up with characters and world ideas every once in a while.
The snippets in my comments are more often than not the result of random brainstorming and kept intentionally vague. I kinda enjoy the idea of people making up their own stories based off of fragmented, sketchy information - The Dark Souls approach at storytelling, as it were. ^^
