Well after being inspired by RizyuKaizen(DA) Dust runner race, and Horus-Goddess (DA) Swift claws and all the other raptor Anthro thingies out there I decided to make my own (on the bandwagon now yes)
Only mine.. is different much, much different.. the details have yet to be worked out about his race.. including name lol have some ideas but still thinking (most sound lame to me)
What I do know is that they are not just Anthro raptors but a miz of dragon and raptor.. so half dragon half raptor Anthro thingy ma bob.. yeah..
Any way I do know that also I will have some with wings but they don’t have to have wings.. it just depends on what they lean to more the dragon or the raptor side.. or just plain even down the middle..
Like I said still working things out still.. which is ohh so much fun

This is Pyre (means fire in Scottish I believe) she is a mix of fire dragon and raptor and the first of my yet to be named race (ideas are welcomed)

Yup. I find that, if you really want to go for something that hasn't been done, it helps to cross things with platypuses. And/or naked mole rats.
But really, pursuit of originality past a certain point gets silly. Nothing wrong with using an idea other people have used if you came about it your own way and didn't just copy for the sake of following the crowd. It just pays to be aware of the trends, rather than having an 'omg - you mean OTHER poeple have characters with katanas??" moment xD

true trying to make something unique or diffent form all the rest it's silly as well as hard at times.
