I HATE SPIDERS!!
If I ever come to visit you and you dont warn me you have a pet spider, and then try to scare or surprise me with it. Our friendship will be over and I will leave and never come back!! As long as theyre behind glass where they cant get to me Im fine... but if theyre lose... I will have an asthma attack, an anxiety attack, hyperventilate, and just about die!! Im an arachniphobic! Keep them away from me!!

Well, acute arachnophobia. if they're small, and I'm aware of them, I can deal with them, though if they're in my house, they're dead, period.
If they're big, or suprise me by suddenly zipping by on my floor or wall, I freak out.
Oddly enough, though...scorpions dont bother me at all.
And I recently learned that I LOVE praying mantises..so those are my 'natural insect killers' of choice...mantises.

OMFG, were like... twins! :D I can stand little one, in fact as long as I see them I dont care about em. But being in the Southern US, we get those monster spiders that look like FaceHuggers!!
And I find Prayign Mantises just sooooo cute!! You see them on nature shows as being so damn viscious! And then you see one and its no bigger than your index finger and its just soooo damn cute XD

We get large wolf spiders here. And they arent poisonous, but they are vicious!
Their bites hurt a lot, and I once poked a dying one with a big twig. it was on it's back, legs slowly curling up...and it actually rolled back over, grabbed the twig with his fangs and pulled it away from me, then stared me down. o.O;

I have the same problem with spiders....I've actually held tiny spiders before.....but never and I mean NEVER gone near anything that's bigger than 5mm

I have no problems with spiders unless they're poisionous, honestly I don't see why people get so easily freaked out by them then again I never was afraid of them. My teacher in high school had a tarantula in a glass case and while one of the students was freaking out I went over to hold it.
Ya know, I used to be quite scared of spiders myself, though one day I went with my elementary class to an insect place. WHile I was there I ended up holding a tarantula in my hand, was actually a gentle little thing, and rather soft furred too. ^..^ So now I'm not really scared of spiders at all, though I might jump every now and then if I see one when I'm not expecting it. XP
