I've had a long stretch where I've felt. . . not sad exactly, but very isolated. The last few days in particular left me feeling very alone. It's made me think how Puck must have felt in the time he wandered before he met Ransom. There's a future out there, he just can't see it.
He'll be with his coyote some day.
This is the only entirely Acrylic painting I've ever done in one sitting. It's 8 x 10 on Cold Press Illustration board.

Isolated but so powerful we see he is so small compare to all this ecosysteme he is facing but alo we can have the feeling he is connected to it in a perfect egality . The Wild and the Wolf so majestuous, savage but very aware of how life is : rought but also full of (sorry but i duno the word in English to say : "merveilles") .
Like always u are and still be really impressived with ur unique style, ur artistic talent and the complexity in each of ur sketches (even in PrOn ones)
But did u do that alone or u had been helped by Dark Natasha because there is some similar points with her art?

Actually no, never gotten a painting tutorial from Dark Natasha, although I certainly wouldn't turn one down :) I spent a few days learning from
kenket a year or so ago though, and I credit her a lot of my recent strides with acrylic.
If you mean did I have someone sitting down WITH me for this painting, then no. Thus the title :P

Sorry you've been feeling so isolated lately. It's not a fun feeling to have for an extended period of time. Going outside, even if you're not around other people, may help.
You did a great job with this. Puck's alone, but his stance makes him look powerful in the picture. He's alone (but not for long), but he strong.

Beautiful picture of a very serious set of emotions. After my mate was denied a visa to visit the US based on having no close ties to his own country, thus making it likely that he would overstay his visa, according to the gub-mint, I can relate. I just returned from a week in London where I went to be with him, and am now in the process of filling out all the paperwork for a fiancee visa application with the hope that they'll let him come here to the US and marry me. The feeling of desolation as I turned and waved goodbye to him at the airport one last time after holding him in my arms for a week was almost more than I could bear. Good luck, Puck, and wish me the same. :'(
I'd highly suggest you contact: http://www.immigrationequality.org
It's free, it's what they are there for, and I'd highly suggest on legal advice before you file any papers on his behalf! As someone who did do something very close to what you're doing for him (I moved from the USA to another country, but it's was before DOMA ended etc). It's a very complicated and long procures, but if you do it right, and do it right the first time it should work!

Wow - thanks. I'll check that out. I'm in the process of checking out immigration lawyers here already, because it looks a bit complicated and sounds like you can really get screwed if you do it wrong. When I went to the UK last week, all I needed was a passport; they asked me half a dozen questions about my trip and welcomed me to their country. Why can't the US be the same? :(
