Brass hilted rondel dagger
A new rondel dagger just completed.
Well...I did about 90% of the work back in July and had to set it aside to finish the massive armor commission that ate my summer.
Just remembered this thing a couple of days ago and dragged it out for finishing.
I based it off of a 14th century rondel dagger that was dug up in the Thames estuary.
Thick brass guard and pommel, carved into quatrefoils.
7 inch, double edged blade, and a Katalox wood hilt that I turned on my drill press lathe attachment.
This is currently up for sale over at the armour archive.
