Pride - I'll admit, it's one of my most beloved attributes, but also my most hated, personally. I've asked here and there, some have told me to embrace it and use it to my advantage. While others have told me that I'm too deep in it. Whenever I face problems, I think back to how I use to be; outgoing, smart, carefree, even as simple as being "happy".
Not that I'm saying I'm not in happiness right now. I'm glad I have my long-term boyfriend, finally. He's even helped me a lot. Though, how come I can't use it to my advantage whenever I face such intimidating or overwhelming problems? I should be able to, even just the slightest. Where has that determination to prove myself gone, I ponder.
But that side of me is right, no matter where I look at it from. It still is a part of me. I'm mostly about it, be it good or bad when people comment about it. I may or may not be able to change it, but I would be more than glad to put it where it rightfully belongs.

There is a dark side in all of us, hun. It may be a part of you, but that's all it's ever going to be. So use it to your advantage. I know you can do it, hun! I'll always be here for you! I love you very much!
Glad to see you venting your feelings out through art. I need to get myself back in art myself.
By the way, I think "long-term" might be a little bit of an understatement. Just saying, I love you!
