The idea behind this picture came about during this past summer, when I happened to catch Eatter online while I was at work. He was talking about it being a nice day and that he may be heading out to a picnic.
Of course, this led me to thinking of how ants are often attracted to picnics when the food is left exposed, but Eatter generally has other tastes in mind. So, the platter he lays out would be for larger prey. In this case, my rat, Rodent, happened to be seduced by the aromas of cheese, crackers, nuts and other fine edibles; only to result in him being snatched up by Eatter's tongue and gobbled down. But don't worry, as from the looks of the squirrel getting some snacks of his own, Rodent won't be alone in Eatter's belly for too long. :)
I really do love how Eatter came out here, with the setting being perfect and the casual expression on his face as he enjoys his picnic, being exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job, Squeedge Monster, and Eatter, I hope you like how it came out. *hugs*
