Great care was being put into place for what I was doing.
I had spotted a small but rather concentrated city during a walk along the countryside, all the while being large enough to where the upper portions of my body would be among the clouds. Despite the obvious mass that I would have, physics would...bend a bit to me due to my preferences, the land not fracturing with each step or even movement of my paws under the sheer weight. Clouds would indeed part wherever I went and allowed the sun to shine down onto the land below, and the wind generated from my movements would normally shame that of a hurricane of the highest category. Twas not the case, for it would be a strong gust to those in the path of it, some smaller ones being swept off their feet but thankfully not carried far off.
But back to what I was doing, for I was taking care in trying to get a closer look at the city in question, my wing-hands slowly pressing down on either sides of the city's outskirts. Any housing that was covered by the trees and wound up underneath them wouldn't be pancaked by the furry mass pressing down on them, though the warmth against the cold air that followed would indeed be quite welcome to those who needed it. Fur as thick as large trees would be brushing up against the ground, miles of them spreading out onto the landscape from my wing-arms, easily blocking out whatever light there was previously shining down on it, though not completely in some spots where rays were shining through. The movements of me lowering myself onto my front would be felt by the residents in the form of tiny quakes, again much weaker than what they would normally be. Even when my breathing, as calm and slow as it could be, soon swept over the city, it would be like a moderate wind was blowing through, the coldness of the air making the breathing visible.
The beads on my twin manes were initially hovering up and behind me, though I soon made them drape down onto my back, to prevent them from slamming onto the ground when the levitation would be let up. The sight of me would be quite something for those who were seeing me, and no doubt be something that they would remember for quite some time, each watching the titanic creature that was me slowly lower himself onto the ground. It wasn't long before I was fully laying on my front, the bottom of my head hovering above the forest canopy that surrounded the city, my breathing continue to be slow and steady as I didn't want to disrupt the lives of those living there any more than I already have. A small smile came to my face as I focused on the city, soon able to see each individual that was on the streets and behind a thin layer of glass of a tower or within a metal case of a vehicle, seeing each and every gaze that was visible to me focused on me. Some were showing surprise, others fear which was natural, others I wasn't sure what.
Still, hope they don't mind me doing a little city watching for the time being.
