Here we go, the very first image of Eve.
Eve is basically the character made to show my 'feminine' side... if I have one.
Unlike my 'Stephen Behind The Fur' piece, I will paste the original text here:-
...
There is alot more to Eve than meets the eye. At first glance she seens like an ordinary Eevee with a boe on her head. But she was created with alot of meaning, pain and future plot. In truth, her meaning is the deepest of all my characters. Yes, even more deeper than Stephen.
Eve is not entirely based on anyone in particular. But instead was created to be the soul-mate of Stephen. Originally they were going to be mates. But as my depression (in real life) overtook and over-run me, these plans changed, as I thought if I were even an Eevee... what chances would I have with a creature so pure hearted and innocent?
The facts about Eve and her creation are here:-
...
Her name may be a shortened down version of 'Eevee', but it was meant for the 'Eve of beginings.' The word 'Eve' means 'beginning' or end, just like the word 'Twilight'. In this case, she was named after the beggining of Stephen's love life. But instead ended up being the beggining of her own despair.
Very early on in the Eevee Extinction? stories, she falls victim to a Seviper named Scrate. This is one of her most important features. This scene is followed throughout the entire story. Eve herself represents many things, but Failed-Love is one of the main things she represents.
Some people have told me that love is like a snake. That once it gets ahold of you, it gets tighter and tighter, and leaves you breathless. Some people say love is worth dying for, and when rejected you are also left breathless.
The constriction scenes have so many mixed meanings that its quite cruel in many ways.
Second chances! Even though she dies in the very beggining of the stories, she still finds her way back amongst the living with help from Stephen. And due to this, mixed with her lonliness, despiration to find another, and her unbeleivable determination to experience the feelings of love - she instantly falls for Stephen, and from that moment on she tries her very best to win him over.
Why will I not let her win? Because... if I were to do that, her meaning would be lost.
Hope! Eve never gives up trying. No matter what got in her way. Unless she was powerless to stop it, she would continue on. In truth she is stronger willed than Stephen.
But her downfall is emmotional pain. She suffers alot of it. And every time she is rejected she has an overwhelming desire to end her life yet again. Although prevented by Stephen from her leaping off from a cliff, she gets the wrong idea afterwards and thinks it was a gesture from him saying that he does indeed love her.
Innocence. She has no cruel intentions at all. All she wants is love and happiness. To forever aim for what she cannot have. Technically she should be the most wanted girl in the entire Eevee kind. But her misfortunes and innexperience of handling rejection leaves her weakened and very unconfident.
Death...
Another key feature. She represents the pain of death. The fear of dying and losing all that you hold dear. She is also plagued with constant nightmares, normally of Scrate attacking her or Stephen. No matter what she does, these nightmares will continue, and she is almost certainly never going to be truly safe from them.
Determination.
A few people have told me that Eve is selfish. That she needs to learn to give up on Stephen and move on.
But how can those people say that? Because I know for a fact that some of those people that said that have done the exact same thing multiple times.
Eve simply beleives she has found the one but due to circumstances, it also seems impossible. Can you truly say that trying to win the one you love is so wrong? In the stories, Stephen is single so there is truly no harm apart from the pain she feels when rejected.
And me...
Eve has a huge part of her based on me and how I was during my depression. Because of how she is, I could calss her as my daughter in Eevee form. But I do not. About 60% of her is part of me. She is one of the characters I would never abandon because she stands for so much.
She stands for alot of me, and alot of what I used to beleive in.
...
What I must add, is that IF for some reason Eve became real all of a sudden, and had all the memories she has within my stories... Id be the most guilty filled person on the planet. To know that someone has gone through so much all because of me.
In ways she was made to represent the perfect girl for me. But of coarse, it is impossible to know what you will actually want in someone.
Eve is forever stuck in a dilema of pain, death and rejection. Her happiness is almost impossible.
She cries as much as I used to. In truth, I truly pity this character of mine... even if she is not truly real.
